PITCHING TO THE UK’S ENERGY LEADERS

We’re very pleased to have been shortlisted to present the Latitude40 to innovation teams from Centrica, EDF and ScottishPower through the Barclays Eagle Labs Energy Panel. It was a valuable opportunity to explore how solar tracking could help utilities make better use of constrained grid infrastructure, support electrification and improve the economics of renewable energy for their customers.

NATIONAL CLIMATE TECH ACCELERATOR – FINALISTS

We were delighted to be a finalist in the National Climate Tech Accelerator (NCTA) Innovation Showcase. The scheme was organised by Sustainable Ventures and Barclays Eagle Labs. It was great to be in the last group of 315 entrants, and we narrowly missed a spot on the podium.

BUILDING OUR MARKET PRESENCE

Behind the scenes, we’ve been giving our marketing and sales activity a major overhaul.

Bea Parsons has been leading this work by strengthening our sales processes and helping us connect with the right partners and customers. This has stepped up our client engagement, and we’re currently engaging with leading utilities, developers, installers and solar asset owners.

A PRODUCTIVE SOLAR & STORAGE LIVE

September took us to the NEC in Birmingham for Solar & Storage Live. It was a packed 3 days of conversation which introduced many new faces – and some familiar ones too. With over 100 great conversations, it was an opportunity to better understand customer pains; and also refine what end users need to start purchasing at scale. From convincing yield evidence to practical installation requirements, these are informing our next stage of commercial development.

BUILDING UK PARTNERSHIPS

We’ve been having some really productive conversations with manufacturing and logistics businesses as we prepare to scale up. We’re proud of our UK roots and are exploring opportunities to build a strong, UK-based supply chain that can support Latitude40’s commercial rollout.
